Diversified Classification Of Modern Sewage Pumps
A sewage pump, as the name suggests, is a specialized pump equipment used to transport sewage containing solid particles, fibrous substances, and various impurities. They play a crucial role in the fields of municipal, industrial, and construction, and are key equipment for ensuring fluid transport and environmental protection. However, in the face of complex and ever-changing working conditions, a single type of sewage pump can no longer meet all needs. Therefore, according to different structures, working principles, and application scenarios, sewage pumps are subdivided into multiple types.
Submersible pumps are currently one of the most widely used types of sewage pumps. Its biggest feature is that the motor and pump body are tightly sealed together, which can be completely submerged in sewage for operation. This design not only saves valuable ground space without the need to build a dedicated pump room, but also operates in water with low noise and good heat dissipation, extending the lifespan of the motor.
Single/Double pipe submersible sewage pump: This is a further subdivision of submersible pumps. The single tube submersible sewage pump has a compact structure and is suitable for conventional sewage discharge. The double tube submersible sewage pump is designed specifically for treating wastewater containing a large amount of solid particles and long fibers. Through unique pipeline and impeller design, it can effectively prevent blockages and is particularly suitable for application in complex environments such as municipal sewage and construction sites.
Pipeline sewage pump, also known as pipeline centrifugal pump, is designed to be directly installed in the pipeline system, like a part of the pipeline itself. Its inlet and outlet are located on the same axis, with a compact structure and small footprint, and can be flexibly installed on any pipe section that requires pressurization or transportation.
Technical features: This type of pump usually uses a special non clogging impeller to deal with solid debris that may exist in sewage. It simplifies the installation process and reduces the requirements for installation space, making it an ideal choice for urban sewage pumping stations and building basement drainage.
The vertical sewage pump installs the motor above the liquid level and drives the pump body submerged in the liquid through the long shaft to work. This separated design solves the risk of sealing failure of the submersible pump motor, ensuring that the motor always operates in a dry environment, greatly improving the safety and reliability of the equipment.
Technical features: Easy to maintain and repair, no need to empty the liquid tank to inspect the motor. Meanwhile, the shaft length can be adjusted according to different liquid level depths, suitable for various deep water wells, ponds, and containers.
Submerged chemical pumps are a special branch of vertical sewage pumps designed specifically for treating industrial wastewater that is corrosive or abrasive.
