The concentric butterfly valve is a lightweight, cost-effective quarter-turn valve used for on-off and throttling control in low-pressure industrial pipelines. With a simple structure and 90° operation, it is easy to install and maintain. Suitable for clean water, air, gas, oil and general non-corrosive media, it is widely applied in water treatment, HVAC, fire protection and general industry. The disc of concentric wafer type lug butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline.In cylindrical channel of the valve body,the disc rotates around the axis,and the rotation angle is between 0°-90° When it rotates to 90°,the valve is fully open.Valve is widely used,so the same valve will be have different collocation according to different occasions and working conditions.

FAQ1: What is the main difference between lug‑type and ordinary wafer‑type butterfly valve?

Answer: The lug‑type valve has threaded lugs on the valve body. Bolts screw directly into these lugs, allowing one‑side pipeline disassembly without removing the valve. Standard wafer‑type relies on long bolts running through both flanges; the valve will fall off if one‑side piping is removed.

FAQ2: Can this concentric wafer‑type lug butterfly valve work for water and seawater service?

Answer: Yes. Its concentric soft‑seat design is suitable for water service. For seawater, please advise us of working conditions so we can select suitable elastomer and metal material to resist corrosion.

FAQ3: What pressure classes are available for this lug butterfly valve?

Answer: We support ANSI Class 150 and PN10 / PN16 as regular options. Other pressure ratings can be customized upon your request.

FAQ4: Is this valve supplied with actuator?

Answer: This item refers to bare valve body only by default. Lever handle, gear operator, electric or pneumatic actuators are optional extras. Please specify your requirement in your inquiry.
