What is The Core Function of Angle Globe Valve?
  • Shut-off and On/Off Control:The most basic function of an angle valve is as a switch. By rotating the valve stem, it can quickly and completely cut off or open the flow of media (such as water, steam, oil, gas, etc.), achieving pipeline on/off control.
  • Flow Regulation and Throttling: Similar to ordinary gate valves, angle valves can also be used to precisely regulate the flow rate of media. In the semi-open state, it can control the system pressure drop and flow rate by changing the flow area between the valve core and seat.
  • Changing Flow Direction and Simplifying Piping: This is a unique advantage of angle valves. They combine the functions of a gate valve and an elbow. When the medium flows through the valve, the flow direction is naturally changed by 90 degrees. This not only effectively reduces the use of pipe elbows and simplifies pipeline design but also reduces installation costs and potential leakage points.

What is The Core Principle of Angle Globe Valve ?
It uses the vertical movement of the valve core to control the flow and interruption of fluid in a right-angle channel.
  • This is because our initial design intention was to allow it to simultaneously perform both"stop"and"turn"functions.
  • Valve Body Design: The valve body has two ports that intersect perpendicularly at 90 degrees. Fluid enters through one port, flows through the interior, and then exits through the other perpendicular port. This eliminates the need for an elbow, simplifying the piping.
  • Control Mechanism: Inside the valve is a movable valve core (or valve disc), driven by the valve stem, which acts like a plug aligned with the valve seat opening.
