- Forged steel globe valves are usually equipped with a plug-type disc, which is designed to prevent leakage during long internal wear life of the seat.
Forge valves are available in two bonnet configurations. The first design is a bolted bonnet with male-female connections, spiral wound gaskets, made of F316L/graphite. Ring-joined gaskets are also available on request.The valve body is forged steel and designed to meet the basic dimensional requirements of applicable codes such as API 602 and ASME B16.34. The valve body is available in full-port or standard-port designs. It is also available in T-pattern or Y-pattern configurations. The body seat is an integral welded overlay and is part of the valve trim. The disc is forged steel and is part of the valve trim.The seat surface is of conical or plug-type construction. The disc is attached to the valve stem using a loose or rotating disc device
