- Open the valve: Rotate the handle 90 degrees by rotating the handle connected to the valve stem. The hollow center is now aligned with the flow path, allowing fluid to pass through without restriction.
- Sealing: Tight closure is ensured by a resilient seat located around the ball opening. These seats compress against the ball, creating a leak-proof seal.
