High Temperature Ball Valve
This high temperature ball valves model combines the well-known reliability of SJ valves, the result of many years of experience in producing ball valves for extreme temperatures, with the ability to solve fluid interception problems, the result of constant research and technological control reserved for each individual order.
Over the years, SJ has managed to maintain these product qualities and even make ball valves the most competitive on the market by mass-producing some components, such as metal seats, making them available on a ball valves for high temperature service
With the use of metal seats, it is possible to create ball valves with metal seats with zero leakage, easy maintenance, no adjustment between seat and ball required, and a 40% reduction in operating torque compared to standard metal seat solutions.

- STEM TIGHNESS
- Dual ring system with loading nut allows correct stem shim preload and adjustment to restore clearance for wear and differential thermal expansion between stem and body
- GASKETS
- Use only Grafoil® gaskets, inherently resistant to high temperatures: no polymers used
- STEM
- The stem is 100% oversized and the maximum torque is the expected torque. Rating DP.
- BOLTS AND FLANGE
- All flange connections are designed in accordance with ASME VIII Div.1 and ANSI B16.34.
- BALL
- Very high precision ground balls are produced in-house, then they are hard coated with the most advanced systems
- SEAT
- Metal seats are preloaded with springs for perfect low pressure bubble tightness to restore lifetime wear and differential thermal expansion between stem and body.
